  • Can guests make any changes to the menu?

    Russo’s On The Bay can personalize the menu for you. We offer food from other regions such as Albanian, Polish, Greek and Caribbean. We can sit down with the chef and come up with something that accommodates everyone. Russo’s On The Bay also offers kosher catering. You can contact a bridal consultant for additional information.

  • Are you flexible with payment plan after we book?

    Russo's On The Bay offers several different payment option for your event. After booking, there is a computer generated breakdown of your payment on the front of the contract. You can follow that or we can customize a plan that works better for you. Please speak to a sales consultant prior to booking if there are special circumstances or any special payment considerations that you would like to be considered.


  • When do we have to let you know our head count? What is the latest we can make seating changes?

    Seating is required 10 days before your wedding. You can make seating changes up to 8:30PM the night before your wedding or event. If any guests should cancel you can make changes the night before and not be liable for them as long as you meet your guaranteed number of adults.

  • What happens if we book during January or February and the weather becomes a problem?

    In case of an emergency, such as a blizzard or hurricane, you may choose to move the date. We are always happy to work with our clients in these situations to ensure the perfect event.

  • Can Russo's On The Bay host outdoor wedding ceremonies?

    As of right now, Russo’s On The Bay does not accommodate outdoor ceremonies. This is just one of our many future plans for the building, but it is important to ensure that it is done in a way that best accommodates our patrons. The outdoor garden, terrace and gazebo; however, are available for photos.

  • What is your deposit requirement?

    For social and corporate events, deposit amounts vary. For weddings, a $500.00 non-refundable deposit is required. This can be in the form of a credit card (for the first $500.00 only), personal check or money order.

  • Does Russo’s On The Bay offer buffet style dinners?

    For our guests, service and quality are always our absolute top priorities. To ensure that we are always creating flawless food, we do not offer buffet-style options. Each table will be catered to by dedicated waitstaff to ensure that your guests are always satisfied and enjoying their evening. Our plated meals and fresh displays enhance the quality and freshness of our food and ensure that each meal is served as desired to the guests' liking. 
     

  • Does Russo’s On The Bay include any entertainment for the kids?

    Children's entertainment is not built-in to our packages, but our phenomenal Preferred Vendor Program includes several different vendors such as face painters, balloon makers, and magicians to keep the kids entertained.

  • Are there any special costs or different prices for kids or teens?

    Yes, we offer Children's Meals at half price (after your guarantee is met) and can accommodate special rates for teens as well on certain days.

  • Does Russo's On The Bay allow more than one wedding or one event going on at a time?

    Russo’s On The Bay often hosts more than one party at a time. Over our twenty-five years in business, we’ve developed methods for accommodating more than one event at a time without comprising quality, service or the exclusive feeling that each of our brides deserves.

  • Does Russo's On The Bay have any outdoor areas to take pictures?

    Yes, our property has a beautiful garden area, fountain, and gazebo built on the water and overlooking the bay, providing spectacular photographs in all times of the day. It is lit up with LED lighting in coordination with our fountain in the garden to make for consistent photography.

  • Does Russo’s On The Bay allow brides and grooms to have food tastings?

    Part of our process while planning your event is offering a food tasting. It is designed for you as the bride and groom and your family. You will have the opportunity to taste each of the items on our menu to make the best selections for your event. We cannot promote the level of service we are so well known for without providing it for you to test out on your own before your very special day. We strongly recommend that all of our guests take the time to visit Vetro at some point during their process as well to better understand the quality of our food and menus.

  • Do we have an area for guests to come if they come straight from church?

    We can do a hospitality hour with miniature sandwiches, cookies, pastries, and fruit. The full open bar will be open and coffee, cappuccino, teas, and espresso will be served for any early comers. We are in the works of making a separate hospitality area for all the guests, again something to look forward to in the future as we are consistently growing as an establishment.

  • What times are available for social parties?

    Weekend parties usually begin at 12:00PM and 5:00PM with one hour and thirty minutes in between each party to clean up and prepare for incoming parties room.  On certain days of the year, we may be capable of making exceptions to standard start and end times.

  • Are we allowed to bring outside entertainment?

    Yes, you can select any vendor you choose for any services such as entertainment, floral, event planning and several others. If they are a member of our Preferred Vendor Program, they will already be a registered and have insurance on file. If they are not, we request that every outside vendor provide a current liability insurance form and worker's compensation form where applicable.

  • Are decorations in theme style events included?

    Our vendor concierge, Kelly Greco, is always happy to assist guests in developing a plan for themed events through working with our Preferred Vendors to create completely customized theme parties and decorations for everything from retirement parties to sweet sixteen parties.

  • Does Russo's On The Bay provide centerpieces?

    No, Russo's On The Bay does not provide centerpieces for events. We have an incredible selection of vendors that can create beautiful customized centerpieces working with your color schemes, personal style and budget. 

  • How many people can fit at a table? Can we use larger tables if we need to?

    Depending on what room your party is booked in, how many guests you can have per table will vary. We do offer larger tables and several different set-up options to accommodate guests and parties of various sizes. Speak to a banquet sales consultant for more information on set-up options, room sizes, and table choices. 

  • Are there any special introductions into the room?

    Our two most fabulous entrances are the glass elevator in the Tivoli Room and the staircase in the Renaissance Room, these grand entrances are specifically for Wedding Couples. Russo's On The Bay does not have any built-in alternatives to the staircase or glass elevator; however, we are specialists at creating incredible events and can work with our highly-talented Preferred Vendors to assist you in creating a customized grand entrance of your own for an additional cost. Ask your banquet consultant for additional information.

  • Does Russo's On The Bay provide a microphone and is there a charge?

    Yes, Russo's On The Bay can provide a microphone and many other basic audio-visual items at no charge. For more details, speak with your banquet sales consultant.

  • Is Wireless Internet service available for our meeting?

    Yes, but it must be pre-arranged and is a separate cost.

  • Is there a cost for individual tables needed for raffles or booths?

    Russo's On The Bay will provide as much as we possibly can as long as it is in-house and we have it. If we have to order additional tables or rent items from outside vendors, there is a cost for those items.

  • Can our company host meeting-style, classroom-style, or theatre-style events?

    Yes, all of our event hosts can choose between meeting style, theatre style and several other set-up options for your event.

  • Does Russo's On The Bay have audio visual, and projection screen capability?

    Absolutely! All audio visual comes with your package and we can also provide you with an in-house tech to assist you the day of your party to ensure proper service.

  • Can our company give a PowerPoint or other presentation during our event?

    Of course! The Russo's staff will provide and set-up a screen at no cost; however, if you cannot provide a projector or laptop, you should speak with a consultant early as we can rent these items out for our clients.

  • Does Russo's On The Bay offer buffets for corporate events such as meetings and luncheons?

    Buffets are available for corporate events from Monday to Thursday only.

  • Does Russo's On The Bay provide a podium?

    Yes, we can provide a podium and many other basic audio-visual items at no charge. For more details, speak with your banquet sales consultant.

  • Does Russo's On The Bay offer a discount for city employees?

    Yes. we do. Please inquire with a banquet consultant for additional information.

  • What is the max capacity of the building?

    Our entire building can accommodate meeting space for up to 1,000 guests and serve food if necessary. That would consist of using all three rooms. Depending on the event and what you need, we can determine how many we can hold, as well as how to coordinate breakout sessions, meals and cocktail hours as necessary.
