Preferred Vendor Program

Our Highly Rated Preferred Vendor Program is Second to None

Preferred Vendor Program

Our Preferred Vendor Program has existed for some time, with Event Concierge, Priscilla Dolce, handling all of Russo's Brides' vendor coordination efforts. As Event Concierge, Lauren researches, tests, and spot checks each and every vendor that is part of Russo's Preferred Vendor Program. Most importantly, when having your event at Russo's On The Bay or Vetro Restaurant & Lounge, using one of our Preferred Vendors provides you our courtesy guarantee that if you are unsatisfied with the service of a Preferred Vendor, our team will guarantee your service with them. We do this because we know the risk of choosing just anyone to assist in your wedding plans and we believe in the strong relationships that we have with our vendors.

PJ Connolly Featured in Nations Restaurant News

PJ Connolly, general manager and wine director for The Russo Group, was featured on November 25th in Nation's Restaurant News for a special Vetro Wine Pairing tip. Read an excerpt from the article below and check out the full article at Nation's Restaurant News.

Wine pairings: Vetro

PJ Connolly, general manager and wine director for The Russo Group, pairs a wine with Little Neck Clams at Vetro restaurant in Howard Beach, N.Y.

The dish: Oyster Bay Little Neck Clams Oreganata with garlic, shallots, olive oil, lemon and toasted breadcrumbs; $11

The wine: 2012 Barone di Valforte Pecorino Colli Aprutini, Abruzzo, Italy; $12 per glass, $48 per bottle.

Grape varietal: Pecorino

The pairing: The bright acidity in the Pecorino lends itself perfectly to the lemon and garlic sauce the clams are prepared in, while the toasted breadcrumb and sweetness of the clam compliment the wine’s minerality.
